Glen Burnie Pearls of Service Inc. in partnership with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Omicron Gamma Omega Chapter welcomes Anne Arundel County Public High School Seniors to apply for our 2024 Scholarship.
Scholarship application and all required documents are due on Friday, April 5, 2024.
If you are selected for the next phase, virtual interviews are scheduled to take place on Sunday, April 21, 2024.

The Glen Burnie Pearls of Service (GPBS) is participating in the generosity movement of to help uplift our Anne Arundel County communities. Your kindness and thoughtfulness in participating in the movement and providing GBPS a $5, $10, $20 (or whatever your heart desires) in donations that will go a long way in supporting our communities.
Glen Burnie Pearls of Service focuses on providing services in education, health, economic empowerment and family in Anne Arundel County communities. In 2023, GBPS provided $5000 in scholarships to well deserving Anne Arundel County high school students furthering their educational journey beyond High School. Our scholarship recipients are attending highly esteemed colleges and universities such as University of Maryland, Hofstra, and North Carolina AT&T.
Please help us continue in supporting our youth and those in need. Your willingness to give will not go unnoticed. Glen Burnie Pearls of Service, Inc. is a 501c(3) non-profit organization created to uplift Glen Burnie, MD and surrounding communities. Its mission is to provide a comprehensive and systematic program of services to improve academics, health, economic empowerment and family services to youth and families residing in the Glen Burnie, MD, Anne Arundel County surrounding areas.

The Glen Burnie Pearls of Service in partnership with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® , Overachieving Ladies of Omicron Gamma Omega Glen Burnie Chapter of are back again with our 2nd Annual Seersuckers, Sundresses, & Sneakers Day Party at Kurtz Beach.
We are excited for summer fun where all proceeds will support scholarships for college bound recipients. We’re looking forward to you joining us on Sunday, July 30, 2023, 3PM – 7PM. Food will be served from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM.
As our guests, you’ll experience great music by DJ 1LUV, good food offered by Kurtz Beach Catering, and a cash bar! While enjoying the party, you will be able to participate in the silent auction, outdoor games, 360 photobooth, local vendors, and more.
Come picture ready in your summer chic attire; strut your seersucker, sundresses and sneakers.
